Epinova Biotech is an academic spin-off of the Medicine and Surgery Faculty, University of Eastern Piedmont "A.Avogadro", Novara, Italy.
We bring toghether the materials sciences with the biomedical experience in the tissue engineering for the production of new bioactive polymeric substrates for in vitro and in vivo growth of epithelia.

Meet EPINOVA BIOTECH at MEDICA
Starting from an idea
EPIGEL is the first patent of EPINOVA Biotech SRL. Epigel is a biocompatible and bioactive ionic hydrogel that EPINOVA Biotech produces and sells for laboratory research. EPIGEL is produced in two different formulation, A and B, for human epithelial cells growth and human endothelial cell migration respectively.
Recently EPINOVA Biotech developed EPISKIN, an in vitro model of stratified human keratinocyte epitelium. EPINOVA Biotech is also developing EPIGEL SPLANCNO, an in vitro model of intestinal epithelium and other model of normal and pathologic epitelia.
